NPF lashes Chaoba, calls him power-hungry man

Senapati, May 26 2014: Naga People's Front (NPF) Manipur State seriously viewed the statement of Th Chaoba Singh; president of BJP Manipur state which appeared in some Manipur local dailies alleging Naga People's Front (NPF) was neither an alliance of NDA before election nor was there any discussion of joining the alliance post-election.

"The NPF which is an alliance party of NDA has been known to the public from the beginning.

Chaoba Singh's statement would not be taken lightly by the NPF Manipur state.

Chaoba, who is party-hopper and power-hungry man, has crossed his limit," the NPF, Manipur State lashed out.

The NPF, Manipur State recalled the May 20 episode where BJP patriarch L.K Advani had introduced Neiphiu Rio in the Central Hall of Parliament to the NDA leaders saying, "NDA has an MP from Nagaland for the first time" .

"We wonder whether Th Chaoba Singh of Manipur has greater authority than LK Advani and Rajnath Singh, the national president of the BJP," quipped the NPF, Manipur State.

Meanwhile, on the various allegations against it, the NPF, Manipur State said, "We outrightly reject baseless and unfounded charges made against NPF Manipur State for committing maximum rigging through proxy with the help of NSCM (IM) in 103 polling stations during recently concluded 16th Lok Sabha election in Outer Manipur parliamentary constituency is very unfortunate.

Chaoba is acting as a Congress spokesman because whatever he speaks both in the public and party-level has been influenced by Congress, which is not a new phenomenon".

The NPF, Manipur State also said, "A greedy, power-hunger and party-hopper like Chaoba should never mislead the public" .

According to the NPF, Manipur State, the charismatic and dynamic leader like Nephiu Rio will never be kept aside by propagating irrelevant statement made by non-other than Chaoba.

We also remind the people not to be misguided by such communal, ill-minded man overtook by jealousy on tall leader like Nephiu Rio who thinks for not only his Nagaland state, but also the entire north-eastern region.

In the entire north-eastern region, only few leaders show concerns for the entire region whereas many so-called leaders has concentrated only for their personal interest.

"Such people should be careful by the public.

The NPF Manipur would like to advice Chaoba to introspect his party's performance in Manipur state instead of poking his nose on other party which may create more confusion and bring social and political chaos instead of bringing peace and development in the region," the NPF stated.

The NPF Manipur State then said it will always work in the larger interest of the downtrodden and discriminated people where Nephiu Rio shall be instrumental and we appeal to all the public to render support and cooperation.
