KSO GH special assembly held

Imphal, July 02 2012:
KSO General Headquarters was held on June 27 and concluded on June 30 last at Haipi village of Sadar Hills.
126 delegates representing the 22 KSO branches from all over India attended the assembly, stated a press note released by Mangcha Baite, Vice President (Admn) of KSO General Headquarters.
The assembly deliberated on a range of issues such as the KSO office plot located at Kabo Leikai , the KSO's Study Centre at Manja at Karbi Anglong in Assam, KSO's education policy with the theme "Ensuring Free Education" etc.
The assembly resolved not to compromise the KSO plot without the consensus of all the Kuki students.
The study centre at Manja shall function at the earliest time possible and the education policy adopted by the KSO shall be pursued vigorously with likeminded student body, the note added.
Other highlights of the assembly included paper presentations by Henkholun Doungel, District Youth Coordinator of NYK Churachandpur District - "Paradigm shift in leadership-A case study with special reference to KSO"; and "Six R's and Repositioning of KSO" by Paul Hangshing, Regional Commissioner of Provident Fund at Tinsukia, Assam.
