Imphal, September 21 2018:
The proscribed RPF has flatly rejected the Assam Rifles' claim that three PLA cadres were killed in a bomb explosion within a PLA camp located at Aungzaya village along Indo-Myanmar border.
There is no PLA camp at Aungzaya village and there is no incident of any bomb explosion in any of the PLA camps, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit's assistant secretary, publicity Bangkim.
On the contrary, troops of 31 AR were attacked by PLA's tactical command on July 9 in between Kangpat Khunou and Khullen; troops of 29 AR by PLA's 252 Mobile Battalion and MNPF on July 19 at Aibol village, Chandel district; troops of 4 AR by PLA and MNPF on September 5 at Aigyang, Chandel district and again troops of 4 AR by a combined team of PLA and MNPF on September 7 in between Aibol and Zoupi.
Two AR personnel were killed in these offensives and a few AR camps were badly ravaged, claimed the outfit.
Humiliated by the defeats they suffered in these offensives, AR took some fictitious names, a date, time and place, AR was trying to deceive the masses, it claimed.
The AR's claim is a blatant lie and people should not take in such propaganda, it added.
