Tamenglong, May 06 2011:
Strongly reacting to non-bailable arrest warrants issued against two NSCN (I-M) leaders, T R Calvin and Hanshi Ramson by a court, a joint council meeting of the Steering Committee of the NSCN (IM) and the council of kilonsers held at Hebron camp resolved to condemn the arrest warrants on the two.
"Such an act on the part o the government clearly exposes the insincerity and hypocrisy of New Delhi and its leaders," said a statement by the ministry of information of the outfit today.
Stating that the bilateral Cease-fire between the government and the NSCN (I-M) is now running into 14th year and political dialogue between the two entities is continuing since 1998, the NSCN (IM) alleged that the Centre is talking about peace and solution on one hand and using gun and dagger on the other.
"How long and how many times the government would cheat and let down the Nagas? Enough is enough.
Stop shooting and arresting the Nagas on one pretext or the other.
Seek early solution to the Indo-Naga conflict," the outfit stated.
