AR inaugurates community hall

Senapati, June 15 2019:
Commanding Officer of 34 Assam Rifles, Maram, GK Mahindra has inaugurated a multipurpose community hall constructed under Army Civic Action Plan at Makuilondi Village, Senapati District today.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted in the presence of Athuan Abuanmai, president, Zeliangrong Baudi.

Speaking as the chief guest of the programme, the Commanding Officer said that peace and development is a must for social progress.
Social leaders and general public should extend support and have confidence in the AR, who are discharging their duties for the security of the people, he said appealing all the Zeliangrong people to maintain unity and harmony for social progress.
GK Mahindra asserted that AR is ready to extend neccesary assistance for the welfare of the people.
Athuan Abuanmai, on behalf of the Zeliangrong people appreciated the armed forces for doing the needful and understanding the problem and inconvenience of the people.
He also said the community hall will be very helpful and will relief the difficulties of the local people.
The statement also appealed the State and Central Governments to include Makuilongdi and its surrounding villages in their development policies.
