Ibohalbi unhappy over security hassle

Resembling an Assembly Session carried out during war time, the ongoing second session of the 10th Manipur State Assembly has no traces of visitors in the visitor gallery, MLA Dr I Ibohalbi pointed out during zero hour today.
Dr Ibohalbi asserted that various security measures being taken up during the Assembly Session act as a hindrance for all those people interested in witnessing the session.
Dr Ibohalbi informed that House that security measures have been so tightly arranged that even he himself as an MLA was detained at various levels by security guards.
At the entrance gate, he was detained and his PSO was not allowed to enter.
He was stopped again at another entrance to further check the presence of his PSO, who was already detained, causing a lot of harassment to a member of the house.
He pointed out that the visitor gallery of the Assembly is empty probably due to all these security measures.
Drawing the attention of the House during the Zero hour, MLA K Shyam, said that an ex-MLA of Langthabal A/C has been trying to lay his hands over the MLA Local Area Development Fund meant for the general public.
During the Assembly Session today, the reports of State Vigilance Commission Manipur, 2011 and Manipur Public Commission, 2011-12 were also presented by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, who is also the leader of the House.
