KPLF/KPLA terminates

Kuki People Liberation Front/ Kuki People Liberation Army (KPLF/KPLA) has stated that it has terminated its president Lhunkhomarig Haokip alias CP Haokip for acting against the constitution and principles of KPLF/KPLA.
The decision to terminate Lhunkhomang Haokip took place during the cabinet committee of the organisation on September 18, said the commander-in-chief cum caretaker (president) of KPLF/KPLA.
After repeated complaints against his indulgence in drugs and other intoxicating substances, immoral activities and misappropriation of the organisation's fund, Lhunkhomang Haokip was summoned to KPLF/KPLA headquarters and given a strict warning.
However, Lhunkhomang Haokip refused to change his ways.
Therefore, after a thorough trial, the cabinet committee resolved to terminate him for the sake of the organisation and people.
Lhunkhomang Haokip is no more the president of IMPHAL, Sep 20: 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) has conducted a security meet at Upper Khoripok, Ukhrul on September 20 .
The meeting conducted stressed on security measures in order to protect the locals and maintain peace in the area,
KPLF/KPLA with immediate effect and all the cadres of KPLF/KPLA are informed not to comply with his commands.
It is also further informed to the general public that all types of donations meant for the organization should not be provided through him, the statement said.
Furthermore, the cabinet committee has appointed DJ Mate, commander-in-chief of KPLF/KPLA, to act as a caretaker president until the organization appoints a new president.
