Sugnu AC MLA, K Ranjit has questioned Chief Minister N Biren Singh if he is protecting or compromising the territorial integrity of the State by transferring a DC for not signing a paper related to Border Pillar issue last year.
Addressing the crowd during a political conference of INC candidate of Inner PC, O Nabakishore, yesterday at Kwakta Bazar Community Hall under Moirang AC, K Ranjit alleged "How can a person who has the audacity to transfer a Government official for not signing a paper protect the territorial integrity of the State" .
Saying that Congress party improved the law and order situation of the State and minimised ransom cases during its 15 years reign, the MLA added the Chief Minister knew very well that his party will lose in the ensuing election and as such he is keenly studying activities taken up by Congress during its tenure.

Rejecting the claim of BJP that INC candidate O Nabakishore was involved in graft cases, his innocence has enabled him to contest the election, asserted Ranjit and appealed all to vote for Congress in the ensuing Lok Sabha election of Inner Manipur PC so that a new Government which will work for the welfare and development of the State can be formed.
INC candidate O Nabakishore said that he contests the election to find a lasting solution for the ever increasing issues of the State.
He then appealed all to give him the opportunity to represent the public in the Parliament and work for the development of the State.
