At least six student bodies - All Manipur Students Union; Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM); Manipuri Students Federation (MSF); Kangleipak Students Association (KSA); Students Union of Kangleipak (SUK) and Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) have urged the State Government to roll out a measure to help Class X students, who are to appear in the BOSEM Examination 2021 .
A press release jointly issued by the six student bodies continued that the impact of the coronavirus on the education sector in the State is immense and as such, measures should be taken up to save the future of the students.
Saying that the Board, Council and University in other States have already brought about measures to help the students, the bodies added that CBSE had also announced to promote Class X students based on their performance due to Covid.
The student bodies then appealed to the State Government and authority concerned to do the needful and clear the confusion of students, especially those who are set to appear the BOSEM examination.
