Trinamool Congress to float frontal bodies in two months

Chief Whip of Rajya Sabha, Derek O'Brien, who is an MP of Trinamool Congress, has informed that his party would be coming up with frontal organizations within two months along with constituting Trinamool Congress State Unit in Nagaland.
Addressing a press meet at Hotel Nirmala here today, Derek O'Brien informed that a meeting of the party was held today along with leaders of Manipur State Trinamool Congress.
Though a monthly meeting of the party, it was one of the most important meetings as far as the state unit is concern in view of the present social and political scenario in Manipur.
Derek O'Brien contended as just as the people of Manipur favour Trinamool Congress, the same situation is there in Nagaland.
So, a State Unit of Trinamool Congress would be set up in Nagaland soon.
Although, there is no harm in declaring opening of party unit in Nagaland now, an official announcement would be made after he reaches West Bengal, he said, adding that this initiative has been taken up by the party's central unit.
In addition to this, party has also decided to form its frontal organizations in two months' time, he added.
Replying to a query, Derek O'Brien maintained that every party policy in connection with re-implementation of ILP in Manipur can be known from its website.
Trinamool Congress is a party which has a soft corner for the people of North East.
In response to another query, CM Jatua, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, who was also present during the press conference, assured that the issues related to the threats on people and media in Manipur would be taken up for discussion by the party with the Union Home Minister.
Many leaders of Manipur State TC were also present during the press conference.
