Myanmar police outpost burns

A Myanmar Police outpost near border pillar no 79 has been reduced to cinders by a huge fire at around 8.30 pm today.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, it may be noted that the border town Tamu on the other side of the fence has been seeing major army crackdown on pro democracy protesters.
At least one person was killed and several others were injured in army firing yesterday.
Notably, three of the injured crosses border and they were provided first aid at Moreh Hospital before evacuating to JNIMS.
While the condition of two of them are said to be critical with bullet injuries, the other injured person is stable, said sources.
Meanwhile, several media outlets have reported that at least 50 persons have been killed in army firing today.
Myanmar's military had staged coup arresting several elected leaders including Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi on February 1 .
Since then pro democracy leaders and people including students have been protesting against the military regime.
