Lal Thanhawla richest of all-political party chief

Mizoram chief minister Lal Thanhawla is the richest among the presidents of the political parties in Mizoram.
Among the presidents of the four major political parties of Mizoram viz., Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), Mizoran National Front (MNF), Mizoram Peoples Convention (MPC) and Zoram Peoples Party (ZNP), Lal Thanhawla, the present chief minister and president of Congress (Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee) is the richest, while Zoram Nationalist Party president Lalduhoma is the poorest, says local media reports here.
As shown in the affidavit submitted by candidates for the November 25assembly elections, MPCC president Lal Thanhawla, who is to contest from both Serchhip and Hrangturzo constituencies, has a wealth worth Rs.89, 86,246.50 in cash.
This includes Rs.8 lakhs in hand and those of his savings in different Banks like SBI, Axis, Vijaya, MUCO, Canara and HDFC Bank.
Lal Thanhawla (71) also has land/house-sites worth Rs.700 lakhs.
His wife Lal Riliani also has a wealth of Rs.85, 59, 733.69 in cash and land worth Rs.40 lakhs, according to the affidavit.
Lal Than-hawla has debts of Rs.11, 46,667 and Rs.14, 12,827 in bank and Assembly Secretariat respectively, the affidavit also shows.
On the other, the poorest in monetary terms among the political party presidents, ZNP president Lalduhoma (64) s/o Vai-sanga (L), Chawlhhmun Veng, has a wealth worth Rs.9 lakhs with two vehicles- Ford and Maruti Gypsy, the net worth of his total assets being Rs.16.3 lakhs.
Besides this, Lalduhoma also owns a Rs.150 worth house site at his hometown Chawlhmun and a land measuring 2.80 acres at Sihhmui.
His wife is shown as having a wealth of Rs.4.6 lakhs in cash.
Lalduhoma will contest in the forthcoming assembly elections from two constituencies- from Aizawl West I and Kolasib.
Former chief minister and Mizo National Front (MNF) president Zoramthanga (69, a resident of Ramhlun Venglai, who also had been the chief minister of Mizoram for 10 years long, is written in the affidavit as having a wealth worth Rs.12,10,000.He also owns two vehicles worth Rs.23 lakhs.
The net worth of his assets is estimated at Rs.35 lakhs.
His wife, Roneihsangi also has a total wealth- cash and assets- worth Rs.2, 12,383.Mr.Zoramthanga also owns a building at Chatlang worth Rs.95 lakhs besides a land worth Rs.6 lakhs.
His wife also owns a building at Ramhlun venglai which is worth Rs.80 lakhs.
Mr.Zoramthanga will this time contest from East Tuipui constituency.
President of MPC party, who will contest from Aizawl East-I constituency, Mr.Lalhmangaiha Sailo (63) has Rs.3, 49,780 in cash and Rs.13, 49,790 in fixed deposit.
He also owns a Bolero jeep and has Rs.29, 50,645 in Mutual Fund.
His wife also has Rs.5 lakhs in cash and Rs.50 lakhs in fixed deposit.
