Bishnupur, June 08 2022: Nungba AC MLA and Chairman of Hill Areas Committee, Dinganglung Gangmei (Dipu Gangmei) has appealed to the people from both the hills and valley to unite and respect each other's sentiment to bring development and prosperity in the state.

The MLA made the appeal while addressing a felicitation programme jointly organised in his honor by Rongmei CSO Loktak Project Area; Rongmei Chiefs Association Churachandpur District; Rongmei Naga Council Manipur-Ntyaphay Luangrian; Rongmei Naga Students Organisation Manipur-NTL; Rongmei Youth Organisation Manipur-NTL; Rongmei Naga Lu Phwam Manipur-NTL; Zeliangrong Union CCpur and Zeliangrong Youth Front CCpur at Majuron Kabui Village Ground in Churachandpur district.

Speaking on the occasion, Dinganglung Gangmei lauded the vision of Chief Minister N Biren Singh to bring peace, unity and development in the state.

He continued that under the leadership of N Biren Singh, the State Government has initiated various measures to tackle the issue of illegal migrants and drugs along with a number of welfare schemes for the welfare of the people.

Dinganglung Gangmei further appealed to all the people to come together in the fight against various issues plaguing the state.

BJP Manipur Pradesh former vice president, Adim Pamei appreciated the State Government for appointing Dinganglung Gangmei as the chairman of Hills Areas Committee and expressed his hope that the MLA will continue his good work and bring development in Nungba AC and the State.

RNCM -NTL general secretary, social activists and chiefs of 16 Rongmei villages in Loktak Project Area also took part in the programme hosted by MKTD-Dilung Phwam Loktak Project.
