Nihan FC, AT Unit-13 to meet in 5-a-side football tourney final

Imphal, September 28 2024: Nihan FC and AT Unit-13 set up title clash of the 1st State Level Kangjam Rajesh Memorial 5-a-side Open Football Tournament 2024, following their semifinal victories at Irilbung High School Ground on Saturday.

Taj Khan starred as Nihan FC overpowered Premika-Bamon Kampu 9-2 in the first semifinal match.

Taj ran riot with a seven-goal blitz, with Mohammad and Mustaque contributing one goal each in their commanding semifinal triumph.

The losing side scored their consolation goals through Harish and Tarun.

AT Unit-13, on the other hand, secured a 5-1 win over PYC in the second semifinal.

Romi scored a double while Robinson, J Athokpam and Ananjoy each netted a goal to propel their team to a comfortable victory.

Edwin scored the lone goal for PYC.

The final match will take on Sunday, September 29 .
