Kakching Olympic Games postponed

Imphal, November 25 2024: The proposed inaugural edition of the Kakching District Olympic Games tentatively scheduled in the first week of January 2025 has been postponed indefinitely.

In an office memorandum issued on Monday, Kakching District Olympic Association (KDOA) general secretary M Nilo Singh informed that decision to keep the Games in abeyance was taken at a meeting held on November 22 of affiliated units in view of the prevailing unrest situation in the state.
