Imphal, August 23 2024: Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) will hold a selection trial for U-19 men & women on August 28, 2024 at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena to select boxers for the national selection trial, which will take place at NCOE Rohtak, Haryana from September 8 to 12, 2024, in preparation for the upcoming U-19 World Boxing Championship.

Weigh-in and document verification will be held on August 27 from 2 pm to 4 pm .

Boxers born in 2006 and 2007 are eligible for the selection trial.

The weight categories for the trial are 47-50, 55,60,65,70,75,80, 85,90 & 92+kgs for men, and 45-48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 & 80+kgs for women, MABA informed.
