Kakching, July 23 2025: Mukta FC Uchiwa Wangma emerged as the champions of the inaugural ITFA Cup 2025, defeating Idhou FC Uchiwa Leirak Achouba in a thrilling final decided by a tie-break.

The final match of the 1st ITFA Cup 2025, a 9-a-side men's under-15 football tournament organised by Imphal Turel Football Academy (ITFA), was held at Ibudhou Ikop Ningthou Maru Nongshaba Shannabung, Hayel.

The tournament, which commenced on May 25 and featured 12 teams, concluded with a closely contested final that ended in a dramatic 8-7 win for Mukta FC in the penalty shootout.

No goals were scored during regular playtime.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, Thokchom Satyabrata, as chief guest.

Mayang Imphal MLA Kongkham Robindro attended as president of the function, with Keirao MLA Lourembam Rameshwar Meetei and Kshetrigao MLA Seikh Noorul Hassan among the guests of honour.
