Indian Army organises volleyball tournament

Imphal, August 21 2024: In continuation of its ongoing efforts to engage with the local community, Indian Army organised a volleyball tournament at Siden in Churachandpur district.

The tournament, which began on August 19, concluded on August 21, 2024 .

Ten teams representing Changpikot, Kananphai, Molkot, Sanaching, Gangpijang, Kulbung, L Luiphai, TYU Executive, Chehjang and O Songlung villages participated in the tournament.

After the knockout matches, the final match and prize distribution ceremony was held on August 21.The volleyball ball team from Changpikot village emerged victorious.

The winners and runners-up were rewarded, said a release.
