Three state teams book final berths in National School Games Sepaktakraw

Imphal, April 19 2025: Manipur's U-19 boys', U-17 boys' and U-17 girls' teams delivered outstanding performances on Saturday, securing their places in the finals of the 68th National School Games Sepaktakraw competitions at the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.

The U-19 boys' squad stormed into the final with a commanding 15-5, 15-5 victory over Maharashtra in the semifinals.

Earlier, they had comfortably defeated Uttar Pradesh 15-6, 15-10 in the quarterfinals.

They will now face Odisha in the final on Sunday, April 20, 2025 .

Meanwhile, the U-17 boys' team cruised past Uttar Pradesh with a 15-9, 15-4 win in the semifinals, setting up a title clash against Bihar on Sunday.

On their way to the semifinals, they outclassed Tamil Nadu 15-5, 15-10 in their quarterfinal contest.

In the girls' category, Manipur's U-17 squad dominated Andhra Pradesh with a 15-7, 15-6 triumph in the semifinals, having previously overpowered Bihar 15-3, 15-8 in the quarterfinals.

They will now compete against Assam in Sunday's final.
