Cricket: Manipur upstage Nagaland 6 wkts in Men's U-25 State A Trophy

Imphal, November 17 2021:
Manipur pulled off a dominant 5-wicket win over Nagaland in the Men's U-25 State A Trophy 2021-22 at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati, on Wednesday.
Put in to bat, Nagaland were bowled out for 195 in 47.5 overs.
In the innings, Akavi top-scored for his side with 68 off 66 balls.
Hiketo (32), Sanjay Shiva (25) and Tohuka (23) were other key run-getters for Nagaland.
Bikash Singh led the Manipur attack.
His six-over spell earned him 3 wickets while Bidash, Alfred Hmar and Nitesh did their bit claiming 2 scalps each to lay the foundation for the victory.
Manipur needed 42.2 overs to eclipse the opposition's total as Bidash shone for the state with a brilliant knock of 76 from 59 deliveries, backed by valuable contributions from Guniram A (42 knockout) and Nawaz (26).The state team wrapped up the victory with 5 wickets to spare.
Earlier, Sunil Sharma picked two wickets as Mynul Haque, Renben and Tohuka took 2 wickets apiece for Nagaland.
