50 players shortlisted for state sub-junior men's hockey team

Imphal, July 02 2025: Manipur Hockey has announced the provisional selection of 50 players in the first phase of preparations for the state team ahead of the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship, scheduled to take place in Chennai, Tamil Nadd, from July 28 to August 8, 2025 .

The selected players are K Mahendrajit Meitei, B Tanish Sharma, O Ronesh Singh, B Aristotle, Ch Ranbir, G Sana-macha, S Makinson Singh, Lingelngamba Ch, W Beeter-kumar, W Darish, N Suraj, Th Avinash, N Mahesh, K Sumanta, K Bidyasagar, W Donichandra, L Max, Kartik L, Manimatum, K Hitler, Ksh Amarjit, L Max, N Ronin, O Lanthoiba, S Nishi, T Bh-agir, K Sanjit, Y Roshan, P Aryan, O Goutam, K Suraj, W Paikhomba, N Girik, Th Yaiphaba, A Milan, W Vishal, AK Malemnganba, N Rohit, S Abosana, M Boinao, L Lanchenba, Alex Pangambam, Th Rohit, S Josh, K Nelson, Ng Vishal, P Revaldo, Thoungamba, L Jameshon and N Rohit.

According to an office memorandum issued by Manipur Hockey, all play-ers are required to report to Moirangthem Rinash Meitei, the team coach, at 8:30 am on June 30, 2025 at the Manipur Hockey premises, Khuman Lampak, for further training.

The final team selection will be based on the players' performance during this training phase.
