Ashem Tondonba in final at East Asia Muaythai C'ship

Imphal, November 30 2024:
Ashem Tondonba Singh, representing India at the 2024 East Asia Muaythai Championship, has advanced to the final in the men's elite category.
The talented athlete from the state secured a decisive victory against a Chinese opponent in the quarter finals before overcoming a South Korean challenger in the semifinals.
Ashem is now set to face an opponent from Hong Kong in the gold-medal match.
In addition to Ashem, the Indian contingent features three other state athletes: Laishram Bidyachandra, Yenshenbam Shivaji Singh, and Jenista Ningombam, all contributing to the country's campaign at the championship.
