SWC romp past UCC into 18th DSA Trophy final

Imphal, September 28 2024: SWC (Waikhong) hardly broke a sweat against UCC (Kakching) in their semifinal encounter on Saturday, coasting a 5-1 win enroute to the final of the 18th DSA Trophy Invitation Football Tournament 2024 .

WC took an early lead with A Bisan scoring in the 9th minute, followed by M Ronit doubling their advantage in the 21st minute.

Bisan extended their lead further with another goal in the 25 th minute, and L Suranjoy added a fourth just before halftime.

After the break, S Borish netted in the 68th minute to firmly establish SWC's dominance.

Despite UCC pulling one back through H Manithoi in the 71st minute, SWC comfortably closed out the game with a decisive 5-1 triumph.

They will now face SWC (Keirak) in the final.
