WPC pip FC Kumbi to win Kargil Vijay Diwas Football Tournament

Imphal, July 26 2024: WPC (Wangoo) overcame a stiff challenge from FC Kumbi to win the Kargil Vijay Diwas Football Tournament 2024 at Moirang Multipurpose Hr Sec School playground on Friday.

S Prabin was the hero for WPC in the closely contested final match as his strike in the 87th minute made all the difference at the end of the game to help the Wangoo boys lay their hands on the trophy.

WPC's Dayananda was adjudged as the best player of the tournament while WPC's Athoi walked away with the best goalkeeper award, with FC Kumbi's Nimaichand taking home the top-scorer trophy.
