Wins for PTCC, AKSDO in NRM Trophy cricket

Imphal, January 25 2022: PTCC (Patsoi) and AKSDO (Khangabok) emerged the victors in Tuesday's fixtures of the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy at ABA Ground, Kshetrigao.

PTCC defeated SHADOW (Thangmeiband) by 4 wickets.

Electing to bat, SHADOW could muster just 54 runs after being bowled out in 18.1 overs.

Karnajit Mayanglangbam made light work of Shadow's batting order as the PTCC bowler dished out a superb performance, claiming 5 wickets in 3 overs.

He bowled a maiden over and conceded just 7 runs in his bowling spell.

Loukrakpam Anao, on the other hand, picked two wickets as Chingakham Nikhil Meetei and Thiyam Anish Luwang chipped in with a wicket apiece.

PTCC then wrapped up their win in 13.1 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.

Chingakham Nikhil led the chase with an unbeaten 15 .

AKSDO, meanwhile, registered a 12-run victory over NCA (Ningthoukhong) .

The winning side opted to bat and were all out for 79 in 18.5 overs.

In the innings, Moirangthem Albert top-scored for his team with 30, followed by Sanayai Ningthoujam (16) .

In reply, NCA came out short on scores as they were restricted to 67 for 9 in 20 overs.

Saikhom Kaiku finished with 4 wickets, Chingsomba Mocha and Saikhom Amarjit picked up 2 each, and Sanayai Ningthoujam took one in their team's 12-run triumph.
