YFC, YDC prevail in Tbl Super Div League

Imphal, September 24 2024: Yairipok FC and YDC notched up victories in the L Memcha Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2024, organised by DFA Thoubal, at Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Wangjing on Tuesday.

Kh Birjit scored twice to help Yairipok FC to a 2-1 win over Pathap FC.

Birjit struck in the opener in the 26th minute but Md Arish Khan equalised for Pathap FC in the 43rd minute before Birjit netted his second goal in the 74th minute to close out the game.

YDC, on the other hand, beat ASSA 3-2 .

Y Bangka Kumar opened the scoring in the 14th minute.

ASSA restored parity in the 19th minute through Nasir Hussain.

YDC regained the lead in the 30th minute with N Bikram on target, and William extended their advantage eight minutes later.

ASSA found their second goal in the 54th minute through Md Akhan but YDC held on to seal the win.
