Pamshang inducted as brand ambassador

Ukhrul, September 19 2024: Yet another milestone for the Tangkhul community was marked with the official induction of Pamshang Chahongnao as the Brand Ambassador of World Nutrition.

The announcement was made by the company on September 18, informed L.Robert Meitei, the proprietor of Royal Gym, Ukhrul.

The momentous recognition came after Robert Meitei recommended Chahongnao to Chelle Khundrakpam, the owner of Manipur Nutrition Home.

Announcing the development, Robert informed that Pamshang Chahongnao, hailing from Tushen Chanhong village in Ukhrul district, is also the reigning champion of the '1st Mr Ukhrul Men's Model Physique 2024', a first of its kind of physique competitions, which was held recently in the town Chahongnao's credentials also included a certification from the International Personal Trainer and Fitness Academy (IPTFA) in India.

The journey of Chahongnao thus far has been particularly inspiring.

'He is a living example of an athlete who has faced and overcome major personal struggles, including a battle with drug abuse.

Today, his story is an inspiration, for all, Robert said.

Robert mentioned that that on receiving the recommendation, Khundrakpam readily showed support for Chahongnao's new role.

"Being an entrepreneur in the fitness industry, Chelle Khundrakpam has created a bridge between hills and valleys through sports," Robert stated, lauding Khundrakpam for his commitment to supporting hill athletes.

Notably, the team at Royal Gym, led by L Robert Meitei has been working in the forefront of developing the sporting landscape in Ukhrul district.

Their mission is to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage community engagement in sports as a means to combat drug abuse.
