Imphal, October 18 2026: FC Raengdai were crowned the champions of the Manipur Police Football Cup this afternoon, defeating NEROCA FC 4-2 in a dramatic penalty shootout at the Artificial Turf Ground in Lamlong Thongkhong.

The highly anticipated title clash lived up to the hype, featuring high-intensity football from both sides during regulation time.

Both FC Raengdai and NEROCA FC created multiple opportunities to break the deadlock, but clinical defending and resolute backlines on both ends kept the match deadlocked at 0-0 until the final whistle.

With nothing separating the two teams in regulation time, the championship was decided via a tense penalty shootout.

FC Raengdai ultimately clinched the silverware thanks to two spectacular saves from their goalkeeper, securing a 4-2 victory.

Jonah Kamei, Langanglung, Mangte Stevin, and Kamei Pantiga all found the back of the net for FC Raengdai in the shootout.

Meanwhile, only W Rohit and S Nongpoknganba managed to convert their spot-kicks for a resilient NEROCA FC side.
