Simon's all-round heroics earn NAPSA 7 wicket win over ESU in Veteran Cricket

Imphal, December 16 2024: Simon scored highest 41 and picked three wickets to inspire NAPSA, Kha Imphal a comfortable 7 -wicket win over ESU, Wangkhei Palace Compound in a Group D match of the ongoing 21 st Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament.

NAPSA chose wisely to field first and restricted ESU to 119/8 courtesy of brilliant bowling performances from Simon (3/21), Premananda (3/25) and Ibobi (2/17) before riding on Simon 41 and Bipin 39 to post winning 122/3 in 23.5 overs.

For ESU, Vedeshwor 28 was the highest run getter as three of them shared a wicket apiece in the second innings.

Simon, who produced an allround performance, was adjudged player of the match.
