NEROCA apologise to fans for Durand Cup defeat

Imphal, August 11 2025: NEROCA FC have apologised to its fans for their dismal performance in the 134th IndianOil Durand Cup 2025.In a message, general secretary Dr Moirangthem Manimohon stated that due to the financial constraints, NEROCA FC had limited time to prepare the team for the Durand Cup 2025 .

"We played three consecutive matches at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium against TRAU FC (1-1), Indian Navy FT (0-0) and Real Kashmir FC (1-3)," it said.

"NEROCA FC have not forgotten the physical, financial and moral support of the donors, members, sympathisers and football fans of Manipur.

In this connection, we deeply appreciate their tireless cooperation and support.

We hope that their support never ends" .

"We agree that NEROCA FC have not performed well in the matches, as to the expectation of the fans.

We apologise for the same," it further emphasised.

NEROCA FC also thanked the organising committee of the Durand Cup 2025 and friends of media.
