Imphal, November 06 2008: Thongjao Youth Club outplayed Sunrise Development Club, kakching 6-0 today to occupy the runners-up spot behind WALYDA in the DSA Kakching Division III Football League Tournament held at DSA, kakching ground.

Obed (26th, 43rd), Karnajit (33rd), Lungnger Chothe (40th), Lungdai (45th) and Kiran (47th) scored in the Thongjao triumph and finished second behind the eventual league champions by two points.

WALYDA culled seven points in the four team competition.

YWU (1 point) finished third while SRDC sank to the bottom having failed to secure a single win.
