Chingkheihunba riders clinch State Open Polo Tournament title

Imphal, December 31 2024:
Chingkheihunba Polo Club secured a decisive 9-4 win over Tekcham Polo Club-B to win the inaugural State Level Men's Open Polo Tournament 2024 on Tuesday.
Leishemba T made the most of the match, hammering home five goals, while Th Kaoba scored twice to hand Chingkheihunba Polo Club a memorable title triumph.

The champions were awarded a cash prize of Rs 30,000, while the runners -up, Tekcham Polo Club-B, received Rs 20,000 .
The closing ceremony was attended by YAS director T Phulen Meitei, AMUCO president Phiroijam N ando Luwang, Family Welfare officer Dr E Kiran, M/S Lamyanba Enterprises proprietor Amitkumar, MHRPA secretary Dr K Dhananchandra Sharma and AT Unit-8 commander Huidrom Sagar Meitei, as chief guest, president, and guests of honour, respectively.
The tournament was jointly organised by All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO), Kakching District United Clubs Organisation (KADUCO), and Kakching District Polo Association.
