Imphal, October 28 2025: The National team captain of the SAFF U-17 Women's Championship 2025 which was held in Bhutan, Julan Nongmaithem was accorded a warm reception upon her arrival at Imphal International Airport by Celin Digital and Bahujana Sahitya Academy, Manipur State today.

Julan is the daughter of late Nongmaithem Priyo and Nongmaithem Homeshwori Devi of Khurai Nandeibam Leikai.

Speaking on the sidelines, Dr Phanjoubam Lanajit, chairman of Celin Digital lauded Julan over her achievement at such a young age and exuded confidence that she will bring more laurels to the State.

Highlighting the need for more special provisions to further encourage and groom sportspersons in the State, he also underlined the importance of timely grooming and supporting players before they rise to fame.
