3rd Premier League AMOFA drub AFC 5-0 as United Chandel FC ease 4-1 past SSC

Imphal, October 26 2025: AMOFA, Moirang crushed AFC, Angtha by 5-0 goals as United Chandel FC prevailed 4-1 over SSC, Sekta for the fourth win on the trot in the ongoing 3rd Premier League.

In the 26th match of the tournament, Moirangthem Somokanta (2', 21', 80') scored a treble to set up the 5-0 win for AMOFA at SSC ground in Sekta as Kongjengbam Newton (17') and Khwairakpam Somorjit (84') scored one goal apiece.

It was the second win for the Moirang team in four matches following a 1 -0 win over KIYC in the previous match.

Later in the day, United Chandel who defeated MIUFC 2-1 for the third straight victory in the previous match, carried forward their momentum to thrash SSC 4-1 at their home turf.

UCFC entered into the break with a 2-1 lead as W Strongam opened the scoring in the 6th minute before Nicky Tongsin Anal retained the lead by converting a penalty in the 37th minute as SSC rode on Longmei Pougang to draw level in the 32nd minute.

After the restart, Chaithu Lalthangchung further extended the lead for United Chandel FC in the 68th minute before Kenphashah Chinir, who subbed in for Sh Marconi Monsang in the 62nd minute, scored the decisive goal in the 87th minute.
