Finalists emerge on Day 3 of State Level Boxing Championships 2025

Imphal, July 23 2025: Twelve boxers across various weight categories secured gold-medal bouts on the third day of the State Level Boxing Championships 2025, underway at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena.

In the U19 (men) - 55 Kg category, Thingom Rishi Singh (BPR) claimed a dominant 5-0 win over Salam Chajers Singh (KAK), while Md Abdul Noor (IE) edged past Paringanba Ningthoujam (TBL) 4-1 to secure his place in the final.

The U19 (men) - 60 Kg bouts saw Moirangthem Lanngam-ba Meitei (IE) deliver a convincing 5-0 victory against Pukhrambam Sailesh Singh (TBL), while Chronreiho Y Shimray (UKL) advanced to the final via walkover after Heisnam Dharmaraj Meitei (BPR) withdrew.

In the elite (men) - 50 Kg division, Tompok Thokchom Singh (TBL) outclassed Khumukcham Rajesh Singh (IE) with a flawless 5-0 performance.

Meanwhile, the elite (Men) - 65 Kg category saw Thongam Leninson Meitei (IW) progress via walkover against Yuhlung Eraingam Chothe (BPR).

Similarly, Okram Gung Singh (TBL) moved into the final after his opponent Aribam Sakil (KAK) failed to show up.

In the U15 (girls) - 40 Kg segment, Debika Choudhurimayum (IE) secured her final berth by defeating Laishram Jayaluxmi Devi (TBL) through RSC in the second round.

The U15 (girls) - 46 Kg semifinal saw Priyanka Nongmaithem (TBL) overpower Hawaibam Lingjen Chanu (IE) with a clean 5-0 scoreline, while Khumukcham Anamika Chanu (EI) overcame Huidrom Luxmi (BPR) 3-2 to advance to the final.

In the U15 (girls) - 49 kg semifinals, Lanthing Rainam (UKL) outclassed Sara Laishram (TBL) 5-0, while Yumnam Lannganbi Devi (KAK) beat Kapesa Bariamtak (TML) 4-1 .
