Addressing the team before departure, Sarangthem Johnson encouraged the players to make the most of the competition.

He emphasized that as the reigning champions of the Senior Women's League, the team bear the responsibility of representing Manipur despite the financial hurdles faced by the club.

He further assured that the management remains steadfastly committed to grooming talent and guiding players toward success.
