22nd Veteran Cricket Tournament : Iboyaima stars as REYS trounce LCC by 92 runs for second win

Imphal, December 15 2025: REYS, Nagamapal notched up a 92-run win over LCC, Lamsang in a Group C match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.

Asked to bat first, Bonny 46 off 41, Iboyaima 33 off 49, 18 not out off 17 steered REYS to 192/8 in the allotted 30 overs before Superjit 3/22 in 6 overs, Iboyaima 3/23 wreaked havoc across LCC line up and bowled out for 100 runs in 26.3 overs.

Nandakumar (2/21), Michael (2/43), Romendro (2/17), and Brojen (1/47) were among the wickets for LCC earlier in the first innings before they faltered badly in the chase that saw only Laishram Morning 19, Shyamjai 15, Michael 14, and Dutta 13 adding double digit scores for the team.

Momo, Jitender, and Nongdren also picked a wicket apiece for REYS in the second innings.

Iboyaima of REYS who scored the second highest 33 runs and picked three wickets, was adjudged player of the match.
