RAU end SSU's 7-game unbeaten run with 2-0 win

Imphal, November 14 2025: Rising Athletic Union (RAU), Lairikyengbam Leikai ended Southern Sporting Union's (SSU)7-game unbeaten run in the 3rd Premier League by handing a 2-0 defeat at SSC ground, Sekta.

Md Sohail opened the scoring for RAU in the 19th minute before Ningthoujam Manimatum scored the decisive goal three minutes into the stoppage time (90+3').It was the second win for RAU in 7 games that also included 3 draws and the result lifted the team to 9th place on 9 points.

The day also saw United Chandel FC (UCFC) beat Sagolband United (SU) 1-0 for the fifth win in 8 matches that also included 2 draws.

Ahong Khiang Chothe scored the only goal that made all the difference for UCFC in the 44th minute.
