38th National Games : Dr S Shantikumar among Protocol Committee members

Imphal, November 13 2024: Manipur's Dr Sanasam Shantikumar , who is also the general secretary of the Gymnastics Federation of India, has been appointed as a member of the Protocol Committee for the 38th National Games to be hosted by Uttarakhand next year.

Notably, the president of the Indian Olympic Association, Dr Pt Usha had recently intimated Uttarakhand Chief Minister to host the games from January 28 to February 14, 2025 .

Further, the IAO has established a "Games Technical Conduct Committee" along with other key committees to oversee and support the planning and execution of the games including the "Protocol Committee" .

Mention may be made that Dr S Shantikumar had previously participated in numerous international competitions including Commonwealth Games on three occasions and the Olympic Games on two occasions.
