Kakching Super Division Football : LMLCC edge past SDO 3-2 for third straight victory

Imphal, October 05 2025: LMLCC, Langmeidong sealed their third straight victory in the 22nd Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football Tournament 2025 as they beat SDO, Pallel in a five goal thriller this afternoon at DSA Kakching playground.

Ph Rupachandra put SDO ahead with a freak first minute goal but LMLCC rallied back courtesy of goals from Bungjoy who converted a penalty in the 40th minute and Reingminger who found the net in the first minute of the added time (45+1 ') to take a 2-1 first half lead.

SDO clawed back into the game with S Somesh making no mistake in converting a penalty after 52 minutes but the parity did not last long as S Leishemba made the difference in the 64th with a clinical finish.

The scoreline remained intact till the final whistle despite SDO doing their best to draw level while LMLCC kept looking to add further to their tally.

Notably, LMLCC had beaten KMSWC 5-0 in their opening match before defeating SAO 3-1 in the second encounter.

SDO meanwhile had registered a 3-2 win against SAO in the tourney opener.

SWC will play KMSWC in an all-Keirak clash on October 7 .
