Wins for PSD, ST, SEYC, AKRUCO, AFC in 5-a-side football tourney

Imphal, September 03 2024: PSD, Saturday Team, SEYC, AKRUCO, AFC secured victories in the 1st State Level Kangjam Rajesh Memorial 5-a-side Open Football Tournament 2024 on Tuesday.

In the first match, PSD narrowly defeated AT Unit 13 (C) with a 4-3 scoreline, thanks to A Panthoi's hat-trick and a goal from P Santosh.

For AT Unit 13, Soken scored twice, and Thoithoi added one goal in a valiant but unsuccessful effort.

Saturday Team cruised to a 6-2 win over NCTC, with Gangmei scoring three goals, and Jackson and Michael each contributing one.

NCTC's goals were scored by Ricky and Kamei.

SEYC dominated Loitang FC 4-0, with Abdul Sahid delivering all four goals in a standout performance.

In the fourth match, AKRUCO and Turf Squad ended in a 0-0 draw.

Later, Atingba FC edged out Sorry FC 2-1, with goals from Th Paikhomba and L Lamjingba, while Jupiter scored the lone goal for Sorry FC.

The match between BKFC and KLYC resulted in a 2-2 draw, with Michael netting twice for BKFC, and Shidash and Dilajit scoring for KLYC.

Meanwhile, Lakhendra's double secured Delson FC a 2-1 win over Uran Chiru, who found the net through Lovejoy.
