Milky wins gold as state boxers clinch five medals at Asian U-15 & U-17 Boxing Chips

Imphal, April 30 2025: Manipur's young boxers made a strong contribution to India's medal tally at the Asian U-15 & U-17 Boxing Championships, held in Amman, Jordan, clinching five medals -including one gold.

In the U-15 girls' category, Milky Meinam delivered an outstanding performance, claiming gold in the 43kg category, while S Linthoi secured bronze in the 49kg group.

Among the U-15 boys, Kh Rudraksh earned silver medal in the 46kg category, and Nelson Kwairakpam took bronze in the 55kg division.

Meanwhile, in the U-17 boys' event, L Ambedkar added another bronze to.

India's medal tally in the 48kg category.

However, L Radhamani, competing in the U-17 girls' event, narrowly missed out on a medal.

The state boxers were supported by coaches O Gita Chanu (U-17) and L Radia (U-15) .
