Army hosts Inter School Volleyball tournament

Imphal, July 30 2024: Moirangpurel High School emerged the champions of the Inter School Volleyball Tournament organised by the Indian Army at Island Village, Imphal East.

The two day tournament that concluded yesterday featured schools from Moirangpurel, Bethel and Leikoiching villages, said PIB Defence Wing in a press release.

The tournament highlighted the endeavour to connect with youth of Manipur and showcased the importance of physical fitness and mental well-being, PIB said.

The local authorities appreciated the army's effort in organising the constructive activities for the youth and motivating them to achieve their goals, it added.
