SAI Imphal to hold selection trials for young cyclists

Imphal, May 30 2025: The Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Centre of Excellence (NCOE), Imphal, will conduct selection trials for aspiring young cyclists in the Under-14 and Under-16 age categories.

The trials are scheduled for 5 and 6 June 2025, beginning at 6:30 am at the SAI North East Regional Centre (NERC), Takyel, Imphal.

Open to both boys and girls, the trials aim to identify promising talent for induction into the Centre's high-performance training programme.

For athletes in the Under-18 and above categories, eligibility is limited to those who have secured medals at recognised national or international competitions.

All candidates must report to the SAI Complex, Takyel, by 6:30 am on their desig nated trial date.

Participants are required to present the following documents: a valid Aadhaar card, a copy of their passport or voter ID (if applicable), academic qualification certificates, four recent passport-sized photographs, and certificates of sports achievements or participation (if any).
