RCA beat KASC by 5 wickets to seal MNCA Men's U-23 Tournament title

RCA (Lilong) outclassed KASC (Khomidok) by five wickets to win the 1st MNCA Mens U-23 Haobam Biramangol Singh Memorial Tournament 2023-24 at Model Hr Secondary & Oriental College Ground on Wednesday.
Electing to bat, KASC were dismissed for 141 in 37.2 overs as Muhammad Ali Karim, who scored 58 off 105 balls, was the lone bright spot for the Khomidok squad in their innings.
Md Danish Khan led the scalping for RCA with three wickets while Aziz Mirza and Naesh Hussain picked up two each, with Zamir Khan taking one to lay the foundation for their side's victory.
In their response, RCA needed 31.4 overs to knock off the runs with contributions from Zamir Khan (41), Aziz Mirza (25), Imran Khan (24) and Syed Hussain (15 not out) .
In the process, RCA lost five wickets.
Individual prize winners of the tournament were RCA's Naesh Hussain (man of the series & highest wicket-taker), SCCC's N Basant (highest run-scorer), RCA's Aziz Mirza (man of the final match).
Champions RCA walked home with a prize money of Rs 70,000'while KASC were given Rs 40,000 .
