Imphal, March 25 2009: As the final match of the 3rd Kh Chandra Singh Memorial Invitation Veteran Football Tournament 2009, organized by North East Veteran Football Association, Khurai Porompat played today at the play ground of NESU, Football Lovers Association Manipur (FLAM), Yaiskul won the match and clinched the champion's title.

The final match today was played between FLAM and Veteran Sports Association Imphal (VSAI), Thangmeiband.

FLAM beat VSAI 1-0 in a tough match and won the title.

Both teams' players played the match with almost equal skills and tactics.

They found it hard to dominate over one another.

Both team tried very hard to score goals a against one another.

They played the match with full determination to win.

The only goal of the tournament was scored in the 37th minute of the match by N Biren of FLAM.

Players of VSAI tried hard to equalise the score position but could not scored any goal.

The match concluded with FLAM winning.

Joy Kabui of FLAM won the title of best player (40+).Th Bhupen of VSAI won the title of best player (45+). P Lokendra of IVFA, Canchipur was honoured with the title of best goalkeeper.

USSA, Konthoujam was awarded the title of best discipline team.
