Imphal, October 24 2025: Yarou Sangai FA defeated KNK 8-7 on penalties after a 1-1 regulation time draw to win the title of the 3rd Division Football League tournament organised by the District Football Association, Moirang at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Ground.

With the title win in the fourth tier inter club district league tournament participated by 8 teams, Yarou Sangai FA earned promotion to the 2nd Division Football League next season.

In the all-Keibul final clash staged this afternoon.

Th Sanamacha put Yarou Sangai FA after 14 minutes but S Thoiba scored the equaliser for KNK in the 32nd minute to keep the competition open.

Despite efforts, both the sides failed to add to their tally in the regulation time, and eventually the match was decided via penalty shoot-out where in Yarou Sangai FA won 8-7 with Th Rustam, S Srinvasan, H Lanngamba, N Zawuees Khan, Sali Ahmad, H Roshan.
