Imphal, May 24 2009: As the State Level Boxing Championship, 2009-10 for 17th Junior Boys, 20th Youth, 22nd Senior Men, 9th Women's Open and 3rd Junior Girls organised by MABA at Khuman Lampak Boxing Stadium, Imphal has concluded today, Imphal West-A clicnhes the champion's title and Thoubal-A finished runners up.

Imphal West-A with 84 points won the gold while Thoubal-A won silver with 58 points.

Bishnupur-A with 54 points finished up in third place.

Ch Wilson (E-32 kg) of Imphal West-A was awarded the title of best boxer in junior boy's category.

Sonia Thingujam (48 kg) of Imphal West-A won the best boxer's award of junior girls' category.

M Sanaton (54 kg) of Imphal East-A won youth boys' best boxer's title.

Lakeeya Soibam (57 kg) of Thoubal-A won women's open's best boxer's title while N Ramesh (48 kg) of Imphal West-A won senior men's best boxer's title.
