Devkumar bowls YPHU to 5 wicket win in Veteran Cricket

Imphal, December 21 2024: Devkumar enjoyed a fifer to set up YPHU, Lalambung a five wicket win over Model Club, Chingamakha in a Group B league match of the ongoing 21st Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.

Devkumar (5/26) and Kumarkanta (2/18) led YPHU bowling to restrict toss winners Model Club to 151/9 in the allotted 30 overs before Then Then 35 not out, Ponil 34 and Hemanta 25 took the team to the target in 21.5 overs For Model Club, Suresh 36 and Homeshwar 21 not out were the leading run getters as Saratchandra (2/39) returned with the best bowling figures for the team.
