Veteran cricket: NAPSA Kha-Imphal lose semis spot to YWC Langthabal

YWC Langthabal have entered the semifinals of the 21st Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2024-25 after beating NAPSA Kha-Imphal in the 3rd quarterfinal match at Langthabal Public Ground, Imphal West today.
YWC Langthabal won the match by 31 runs.
YWC Langthabal won the toss and elected to face the ball first to amass 192 for 8 wickets in 30 overs.
S Kumarjit knocked 44 runs off 60 balls, G Gojendro scored 31 from 37 balls.
L Sasi, who was named the man of the match, scored 25 runs off 19 balls and took 3 NAPSA wickets.

NAPSA's T Bhogendro and Ibobi took 2 wickets each.
Premananda and Simon Yumnam took 1 wicket each.
In the chase for the target, NAPSA Kha-Imphal lost 10 wickets in 28.5 overs and managed to score only 161 runs.
Ibobi Irengbam and Ratan scored the most runs for NAPSA Kha-Imphal.
Ibobi Irengbam scored 32 off 35 balls and Ratan scored 31 off 43 balls.
T Bhogendro Singh scored 25 of 18 balls.
L Samananda and L Sasi of YWC Langthabal took 3 wickets each.
Team-mates, Tejkumar, Dinachandra, P Prakashmani and S Kumarjit took one wicket each.
The 4th quarterfinal match will be played between REYS Nagamapal and YPHU Lalambung at Langthabal Public Ground on January 22 .
